Today was a huge day for the baseball community.

For the first time in history, an all-woman broadcast called a Major League Baseball game.

As the Baltimore Orioles took on the Tampa Bay Rays Tuesday evening, history was made as with an incredible panel of women trailblazing the way for future generations of the game.

Melanie Newman, Allanna Rizzo, Sarah Langs, Heidi Watney and Lauren Gardner all became inspirations as they lead the charge on Youtube’s broadcast of the game.

We need more of this and we need it ASAP.
