The 27-year-old toyed around with fans and reporters all season long as he went on to sit out the entire 2018 NFL season, but now he’s set to return to the field after joining the Jets on a four-deal worth approximately $52.5 million with a potential max value of $61 million.

The news came late in the night as it broke just after 12:00am ET but fans across the league were wide awake for this news and they had all sorts of mixed reactions to the deal.

Similar to the Odell Beckham Jr. trade that happened late Tuesday night, fans around the league couldn’t help but trash talk Bell and tell him over and over again that it was a bad choice and his career is over, while Jets fans continuously thanked him for choosing to sign with their team.

Bell put together back-to-back seasons of 1,200+ rushing yards and finished with 1,291 yards and nine touchdowns on 321 attempts to go with 655 receiving yards and two touchdowns on 85 receptions in 2017.
