Kyler Murray made history on Thursday night as the newest quarterback for the Arizona Cardinals became the first person to get drafted in the first round of both the MLB Draft and the NFL Draft.
The 21-year-old was set to play for the Oakland Athletics a few months ago, but had a last-minute change of heart and decided to enter the NFL Draft. As a result, he ended up getting an even larger pay day by going first overall in the NFL Draft and football fans and players reacted accordingly.
The Cardinals just got themselves a fantastic quarterback if Murray can carry over what he did in college to the NFL.
