Floyd Mayweather dropped $18 million on a watch

They don’t call him “Money Mayweather” for nothing.

Floyd Mayweather, who’s collected $285 million in the last calendar alone, recently made a purchase over in Tokyo that will definitely make you feel some type of way.

The highest paid athlete in the world uploaded a video of Instagram showing off “The Billionaire Watch,” which features 260 carats of diamonds

Designed by Jacob and Co, Mayweather purchased it off Japanese jeweler Tadashi Fukushima. According to Mayweather, he’ll now be strictly doing business with the jeweler.

That’s a lot of money to spend to just tell the time. Time is money, after all, right?

One person that thought the purchase was a little outlandish was rapper 50 Cent, who’s no stranger to firing shots off at Mayweather on social media.

The retired boxer has hinted at a possible rematch with Conor McGregor that would hypothetically take place inside of the octagon after releasing multiple cryptic videos of himself inside an MMA ring.
