Oh, baseball, how much we miss you and your awesome plays.

Well, thank goodness for softball, because we’re able to wipe away those tears and dive into the underrated sport’s remarkable athleticism.

With the college softball season picking up for the 2021 season, we were able to see some real superhero skills with a remarkable play by Florida State Seminoles' second base.

Josie Muffley was able to amplify just how talented collegiate softball is with this incredible play against the Memphis Tigers within the JoAnne Graf Classic.

As Gracie Morton of the Tigers stood at the plate with a 1-1 count, the Seminoles catcher tossed a bomb in an effort to pick off the runner on first who was attempting to steal second.

Though as Sam Ibison of Memphis dove headfirst into the bag, she was hit with one of the best plays we have seen in collegiate softball history.

As the toss from behind the plate was a bit high, Muffley was able to squash every catcher’s worst nightmare as she absolutely SNAGGED the ball and went full-blown parkour, jumping over the Memphis runner and tagging her.

Now, this is where we may have some discrepancies because the call on the field was ruled safe, but we’re not quite too sure, to be honest.

Muffley looked like she had her according to the tape, but hey maybe the ump had a different view!

Either way, Muffley is an absolute superstar for this Javier Báez-esque move.

And Muffley had her strength coach to thank for this play! We don’t know, we feel like you almost can’t even teach that kind of pure athleticism!

And the internet absolutely LOVED IT.
