Things have gone very differently for Marc-Andre Fleury and Paul Bissonnette since their playing days together from the 2008-09 season. Fleury has gone on to win three Stanley Cups whereas his old pal is now a star personality for the Spittin’ Chiclets podcast. The former teammates linked up to discuss their time in the league together and Fleury made sure to throw in a hilarious chirp on 'Biznasty'. Fleury, whose lighter side is well known, questioned whether Bissonnette was even allowed to shoot on him in practice, insisting he would simply dump-and-chase instead.
Bissonnette wasn’t exactly one of the NHL’s more skilled players in his day. Through 202 games, the 2003 121st overall pick tallied just seven goals and 15 assists while racking up 340 penalty minutes over that stretch. If you look up the words “Paul Bissonnette” in the dictionary, you’ll probably find his face plastered onto the page.

Fleury also made sure to address a hilarious playoff moment that happened in the Western Conference Final. Bissonnette and his co-hosts on the ‘Spittin Chiclets’ podcast made sure to ask the goaltender why he decided to tickle Blake Wheeler’s ear.
It’s always nice to see two of hockey’s biggest beauties reunite; even if one’s going to the Stanley Cup Final and the other is well beyond his ‘prime’.
