The Calgary Flames selected goalie Dustin Wolf in the 7th round of the 2019 NHL Entry Draft after a few impressive seasons with the Everett Silvertips.

Wolf got a shot with the Stockton Heat in the AHL this season to get his feet wet before turning pro next year, and his first Flames mask is pretty awesome.

As a way to pay tribute to some of the greats who came before him in the Flames crease, Wolf made sure to save some space on his mask for Mike Vernon and Miikka Kiprusoff.

Vernon and Kiprusoff are the only two goalies in franchise history to play over 500 games in a Flames jersey and the only two goalies to win 250 games or more with the club, and he’s hoping to join them on that list some day.

However, for now he’s headed back to the WHL for one final season.

Wolf heads back to Everett where he owns a career record of 88-31-4 with a .933 save percentage and a 1.81 goals against average.
