Calgary Flames forward Andrew Mangiapane felt the spotlight glow a little brighter this offseason after helping to lead a scrappy Team Canada squad to a Gold Medal at the World Hockey Championship. Mangiapane – along with Connor Brown – stood out as one of the most talented players at the tournament, lighting up the highlight reel with a number of impressive plays.
His on-ice skills weren’t the only skills Mangiapane was flexing this offseason, though. As it turns out, his design skills are so elite that the Flames decided to put one of his masterpieces right onto a shirt!
Just look at this piece of art!
Okay, so maybe Mangiapane isn’t quite the Picasso we are playing his up to be. In fact, this shirt is actually more of a friendly jab and Mangiapane’s effort to draw the Flames’ logo during a media tour in Toronto.
While this drawing may not sell for millions in a few hundred years, we get it could sell quite a few t-shirts for a more reasonable price!
