Nurses play an extremely important role in our everyday lives and that’s especially showing right now during a global pandemic.
People around the world have been thanking healthcare workers in many different ways since all of this started, and with Wednesday, May 6, being Nationals Nurses Day, athletes and teams are finding special ways to honour those putting their lives at risk to keep us safe.
In Boston, the Fenway Park grounds crew showed their appreciation for nurses everywhere by putting a special message for them in the outfield.
Fenway Park has one of the best grounds crew in all of baseball, so it’s nice to see them put their talent to use in a different way with baseball currently still on hold in North America.
