Fed up Yankees fans started throwing baseballs onto the field during the game

New York Yankees fans are known to be some of the most passionate fans in baseball, and they seem be already fed up with the 2021 Yankees team.

The Bronx Bombers were crushed 8-2 by the Tampa Bay Rays on Friday night and dropped to the basement of the AL East standings at 5-8. In the bottom of the 8th inning the fans had seen enough and started chucking baseballs onto the field during the game.

Look, everyone’s been let down by their favourite team before, but throwing objects onto the field of play is never the answer or the best way to show how fed up you are. Especially two weeks into a season that has another four and a half months to go.
