Say it ain’t so CMAC! SAY IT AIN’T SO!!!!

Christian McCaffrey made his highly anticipated return to action on Sunday after missing the past six weeks with a high ankle sprain and it didn’t take long for him to make a statement. 69 rushing yards, 82 receiving yards, and two touchdowns, all in a day’s work for arguably fantasy football’s number one player. Managers were feeling pretty good about themselves until… the unthinkable happened. Ian Rapoport reported on Monday morning that the 24-year-old is being examined for a shoulder injury and is highly doubtful for Week 10’s contest against the Bucs. What’s worse is that the tackle came late in the game!

Obviously this is just a nightmare for the Panthers and of course, we can’t forget about those fantasy managers… hope you didn’t drop Mike Davis.

You get the point. As for the injury? Well, it doesn’t sound too serious, according to Pro Football Doc.

At the end of the day, fantasy really doesn’t matter in these situations. The number one most important thing is CMAC’s health and we hope he has a speedy recovery. As for all you fantasy managers… tough luck.
