Marc-Andre Fleury might be the most well-liked athletes in the world, but his home fans probably weren’t too happy with him after seeing photos from a recent event.

That’s because he was wearing a Sharks jersey. It’s hard to say they’re a rival considering the Golden Knights have only been in the league for a single year, but they play in the same division. Now, there is some kind of explanation, because he was doing it at a charity event. The event is hosted every year in Quebec by Patrice Bergeron and Simon Gagne and it has a bunch of French Canadian players wearing the wrong jersey.

So, Fleury wasn’t the only one wearing the wrong jersey, but it was probably the most confusing sight of the night.

Some of the other players wearing other teams jerseys included Jonathan Huberdeau (Sharks), Mathieu Perreault (Bruins) and Malcom Subban (Bruins… again).

After signing his huge extension in Vegas, we didn’t think we’d ever see Flower wearing another jersey again, let alone a Sharks jersey.
