A lot of college basketball fans thought this could be the year where we witness back-to-back champions at the NCAAβs March Madness tournament for the first time since Florida accomplished the feat in 2006-2007, but that all came to an end on Sunday evening when the North Carolina Tar Heels were bounced from this yearβs tournament at the hands of Texas A&M.
Not only did the Tar Heelsβ tournament come to an end much earlier than expected, they were completely crushed by more than 20 points and basketball fans online were pretty ruthless after the game.
Texas A&M will take on Michigan on Thursday in the Sweet Sixteen.
