Kawhi Leonard and the Toronto Raptors are preparing to take part in the biggest moment in franchise history, but what happens afterward also represents a huge storyline.
It’s been one of the hottest topics in Toronto for the entire season, and it continues to heat up. The general consensus is that Kawhi is more likely to stay now than he was at the beginning of the year, but there are also other players in the Kawhi conversation.
Los Angeles represents a couple of those players in the Lakers and Clippers organizations.
While Kawhi has been linked to LeBron and the Lakers for a while, as a possible key to reviving the team, it is the Clippers that seem to be the front runner in most people’s minds if he decides to leave Toronto. That feeling may have gotten even deeper after hearing what Clippers’ head coach Doc Rivers had to say to ESPN.
Is there a hidden agenda in the coach’s comments? Well, the fans certainly think so.
A lot of tampering talk, and a lot of people disagreeing as well. General consensus – you have to get through Kobe Bryant to get to MJ.
