The Toronto Maple Leafs and Montreal Canadiens have locked horns in an entertaining Round One series thus far. There have been a number of memorable moments, one of which was Auston Matthews cracking up during a scrum in Game 1 while Ben Chiarot grabbed a hold of him.
During Monday’s Game 3, Matthews was involved in another scrum. Once again, he was grabbed from behind, this time by Shea Weber.
In all the madness, NHLI photographer Francois Lacasse captured a hilarious still frame. While Matthews was being pulled into the pile, a Renaissance moment was caught.
