It’s spooky season, and while that usually involves the first month of the NHL season wrapping up, that is not the case the year. Instead, we’re all trying to find a way to keep out usually-heavy hockey schedule from completely emptying.

The Pittsburgh Penguins have decided to do that by challenging fans to carve pumpkins. Not just any jack-o-lanterns, however, Pens inspired works for a chance at winning a Mario Lemieux signed mini-stick.

Pretty sweet deal just for carving a cool pumpkin. So far, the results have been pretty sweet, too.
