Since the passing of Kobe Bryant this past weekend, there have been tributes all around the world. From murals to paintings to videos and beyond, paying homage to one of the greatest players to ever play the game of basketball.

Kobe's many accolades include being the 2008 NBA MVP and two-time NBA Finals MVP. He scored 81 points against the Toronto Raptors in 2006, the second-highest single-game total in NBA history. He won five NBA titles with the Lakers and was a two-time Olympic gold medalist. He also won an Oscar for Best Short Animated Film for Dear Basketball in 2018.

As of Tuesday morning, a petition has been circulating to change the current NBA logo to a silhouette of Kobe. The petition, created by Nick M, has amassed over 2.2 million signatures and has been endorsed by fans and celebrities everywhere.
