Carey Price is currently wearing a cape with a massive Montreal Canadiens’ logo on it. Okay, maybe he’s not, but he may as well be.
The man they call “Playoff Price” is once again living up to his nickname as he’s been stellar in Montreal’s crease all playoffs long. While he didn’t have to do too much during Wednesday’s Game 4 victory over the Winnipeg Jets, one Habs fans apparently wanted to show appreciation anyway.
Carey’s wife, Angela, posted to her Instagram Story after receiving a “customized” goal stick from an anonymous fan. The goal stick was just like any other, except for one clear fabrication. The head of a broom had been included on the blade of the stick.
A tad bit creepy, but definitely a gesture made out of love and admiration. No word on whether Price is thinking of using the broom-stick for his upcoming series, but we wouldn’t count on it.
