It’s a pretty crazy time in the world of the New York Rangers right now. Amid all the chaos that’s come along with this COVID-19 effected season in general, the Rangers have had a very tumultuous time within their own dressing room.
While we don’t know everything that’s gone down, reports indicated that there was a lot of controversy surrounding polarizing defenceman Tony DeAngelo. The rumours that were swirling involved stories of a physical altercation between DeAngelo and goalie Alexandar Georgiev following an overtime loss.
We won’t dive into all the rumours and speculation, but DeAngelo being waived by the team the next morning would certainly indicate friction. After TDA cleared waivers, the Rangers are now openly trying to move him. It is believed that DeAngelo has played his last game as a Ranger, and if this latest clip is in fact what everyone thinks it is, that would certainly indicate some finality as well.
