When the best players in the NBA gather in Chicago for the All-Star Game in two weeks, they’ll do so in remembrance of Kobe Bryant.
The format for this year’s All-Star Game has already been adjusted to honour Kobe, and now it looks like both All-Star Teams will forego individual jersey numbers to pay tribute. Team Giannis will all wear Kobe’s No. 24, while Team LeBron will wear the No. 2 worn by Gianna Bryant on her AAU team.
It could get a little confusing with everybody wearing the same jersey number out there, but this is a sweet gesture on a night that will surely feature multiple tributes to Kobe and Gianna.
Additionally, all nine victims of the helicopter crash will be honoured with a jersey patch on the All-Star uniforms.
