Things are getting HEATED between the San Jose Sharks and Vegas Golden Knights.
Goals have been scored, hits have been delivered, and yes, knuckles have been chucked. Game three brought forth one of the better fights of the playoffs, as Evander Kane and Ryan Reaves dropped the gloves in what appeared to be a heavy tilt. It looked as though both players landed a couple of nice haymakers but according to Kane, Reaves didn’t land any at all. He took things a step further by referring to the Winnipeg native as “the Muffin Man.”
That’s got to be one of the chirps of the year, no?!
It looks like Kane isn’t the only Shark who expected more out of Reaves. Teammate Joe Thornton didn’t appear to be all that impressed with the Golden Knights enforcer, saying it was “tough to see Ryan go down against a 30-goal-scorer.”
The only problem was that Reaves didn’t go down, and he actually did manage to land a few punches from the looks of it…
Game 4 will take place tonight at T-Mobile Arena and we’re guessing things might get a bit chippy between the two. It’s going to be one awkward moment when they have to shake hands at the end of the series.
