The annual Body Issue from ESPN the Magazine is here, featuring athletes from across sports exposing it all (for the final time in print!). While the 2018 issue didn’t include any NHL representatives, 2019 delivers with none other than Evander Kane.

Body! BODY! He may be one of the NHL's most well-dressed, but Kane can do this too. This photoshoot must’ve been an odd sight for anybody peering out of their office window in Kane’s native Vancouver to see.

A highly-read issue for ESPN every year, the Body Issue also provides a platform for athletes, and in the companion interview with The Undefeated, Kane also discusses the lack of diversity in hockey as well as how to grow the game among young black kids. The full article contains his in-depth thoughts on the topic, and also, more photos of his bum.

Kane is no stranger to racism in hockey, but it’s something he’s actively fighting against. He recently called out a racist comment on his Instagram account, and actions like these go a long way towards making the game a more welcoming one for those who aren’t traditionally included.

The full Body Issue also features (among many others) Chris Paul, Chrstian Yelich and, in a fun twist, the Philadelphia Eagles offensive line.
