Well, it's 2020. The year of the unpredictable.

The COVID-19 pandemic has forced people to connect in all new and creative ways. With the travel restrictions in the United States, Eurosport’s host Barbara Schett-Eagle was unable to be in New York for the 2020 US Open.

Technology is at an all-time high and Eurosport has created what could be the future of broadcasting and sports. On August 1st, the Cube was launched dedicated to covering the US Open that allows for "side by side" interviews by essentially beaming players into the studio, alongside the host, from anywhere around the world.

Kind of reminds us of The Jetsons.
