Eric Staal has made his exit and is moving across the border to Montreal, though he may need to change the number he's been wearing his entire career as 12 has been retired by the Canadiens.

We digress.

The Buffalo Sabres are having an insufferable season and you almost just can't bear to watch it anymore. It's truly sad and of course, you want to see them do well but the tables just aren't turning for them, with sixteen straight losses as of Thursday night.

At this point, the team is about to break records for their losing streak as they continue down a road of not-so-great stats.

Evidently, players are going to want to start making moves. Taylor Hall has also expressed interest, or the willingness, to leave Buffalo.

But for now, Staal is the first of the falling dominoes.
