While preseason games and training camp all seem like such a tease, it does allow time for you to settle back into fandom. You get to watch as this year’s edition of your favourite team develop ahead of regular season puck drop, and it also provides more opportunity for entertaining quips and highlights.
Elias Pettersson is certainly no stranger to the highlight reel, and he flashed a little bit of what’s to come this season when he absolutely undressed teammate Bo Horvat to score a filthy goal in traffic.
The Calder Trophy recipient will be hoping to stay healthy. It’s scary to think of what he could do with all 82 games.
