Green Bay Packers fans were pretty cheesed when their team traded up to select quarterback Jordan Love, but considering Aaron Rodgers will be 37 this year it makes sense to start planning for the future.

On Friday, it was Philadelphia Eagles fans who took over social media after their team did something similar but selecting quarterback Jalen Hurts in the second round.

The reactions from Eagles fans isn’t a shot at Hurts or his skills, because he’s one of the most talented players in the draft, it’s at the team’s front office for deciding to take a quarterback in the second round while they have a 27-year-old starting quarterback who’s under contract until 2024 and owed big money over the next few years.

Eagles players, however, welcomed Hurts to the team, including Wentz.

Hurts spent three years at Alabama before transferring to Oklahoma last season. In his three seasons with Alabama, Hurts completed 445 passes for 5,626 yards, 48 touchdowns and 12 interceptions. In his only season with Oklahoma, he completed 237 passes for 3,851 yards, 32 touchdowns and 8 interceptions; totalling 682 completions for 9,477 yards, 80 touchdowns and 20 interceptions in 56 games.
