Each and every year, a new batch of rookie stars enter the NHL with the goal of taking over the league in mind.
This year, first-overall pick Rasmus Dahlin of the Buffalo Sabres will lead that charge and luckily for fans of other teams, the rookie class is deeper than just him.
With the release of NHL 19 right around the corner, EA Sports dropped the ratings for their top-10 rookies list in the game and it's no surprise that Dahlin is in the top spot.
Elias Pettersson - 78 OVR
Andrei Svechnikov - 80 OVR
Miro Heiskanen - 70 OVR
Eeli Tolvanen - 77 OVR
Casey Mittelstadt - 79 OVR
Kristian Vesalainen - 69 OVR
Henrik Borgstrom - 74 OVR
Filip Zadina - 76 OVR
Thatcher Demko - 79 OVR
Fans of the Canucks will be happy to see two players from their franchise on this list in Thatcher Demko and Elias Pettersson.
Everyone is behind Dahlin, though, and it's going to take a special season from another rookie to earn himself the Calder Trophy.
