The summer is when sports video games take over. With each cover athlete and trailer release, excitement for the newest instalment in each sports video game series increases that much more.
Tuesday, the enthusiasm for NHL 20 grew thanks to the release of the official gameplay trailer that revealed some of the new gameplay features coming to the NHL video game franchise.
The two features that stand out to us are contextual shots and intelligent saves. It was always frustrating to have players whiff completely if they weren't in a prime shooting position, so having that cleaned up is sure to please gamers.
Intelligent saves also makes the game feel that much more authentic and eliminating those easy or weak goals because of poor rebound control is something we're definitely here for.
Now that the gameplay trailer has been revealed, we can't wait to see what else EA has in store for us in regards to NHL 20 leading up to the release of the game on September 13th.
