Dylan Larkin is one of the key pieces for the Detroit Red Wings moving forward and although he hasn’t come close to repeating his 23-goal performance from his rookie season, the 21-year-old is having himself a pretty good year with 11 goals and 42 assists for 53 points in 74 games.
Since Larkin grew up about 45 minutes away from Detroit in Waterford, Michigan, the Red Wings centre does as much work as he can for the city and the surrounding communities, even if it’s something as small as serving coffees and donuts to the local residents.
Nothing like showing up at the drive-thru window to grab your order and out pops the Red Wings’ leading scorer.
