LeBron James continues to defy Father Time by putting up an extremely complete season for the Los Angeles Lakers at the age of 35. He had a down season in 2018-19, but bounced back to the tune of an NBA title alongside fellow superstar Anthony Davis.

While his dominance is still very much alive, it’s safe to say we’re approaching the twilight of LeBron’s career. On the opposite end of the spectrum, Philadelphia 76ers star Ben Simmons is still finding his stride in the NBA.

According to NBA veteran Dwight Howard, Simmons is reminiscent of a young LeBron James.

Wait, what???

Don’t hear what we aren’t saying, Simmons is a good player. He combines size, strength, and vision to become a versatile asset for the Sixers, and those attributes could be seen in LeBron’s game as well.

But actually comparing the two? Not so much…

Apparently Twitter agreed.
