No matter how excited Raptors fans were Tuesday when they found out Toronto had traded for Kawhi Leonard, they were all devastated about DeMar DeRozan being dealt.
DeRozan is arguably the greatest Raptor of all-time and helped the Toronto franchise reach new heights, whether it be making it to the Eastern Conference Finals for the first time or winning 59 games.
Everyone appreciates everything DeRozan did during his time in Toronto on and off the court, including Drake who took to Instagram to say his farewell to DeMar and welcome Leonard to Toronto.
It's hard not to get emotional reading that message from Drake because that's how much DeRozan meant to this city, the fans and his teammates.
DeRozan made friendships that will last forever while in Toronto and even though he'll be rocking a different team's jersey, he'll always be remembered in this city and country.
