Being the Toronto Raptors’ global ambassador comes with perks, as does being Drake in general, so it should come as no surprise that he has seemingly open access for pick-up runs at BioSteel Centre, the practice facility of the Raptors.
As you can see in this video, Drake’s jumper form is looking pure, and although it’s tough to make out the specific words through the video, he evidently has the trash talk to match:
It’s been a while since we’ve had documented footage of Drake’s jumper, and for good reason. Although his NBA 2K counterpart had some serious game, many are still likely to remember Drake’s infamous attempt from three when he joined the Kentucky Wildcats’ shootaround in 2014. Let’s throw it back:
Of course, in the four years since, Drake has had plenty of time to work on his game, especially if he’s a regular at the Raptors’ practice facility. You weren’t with him shooting in the gym.
Now that we know Drake has game, the next video that the public needs is footage of Drake going one on one against a member of the Raptors. Even more than that, what the public really needs is footage of Drake going against Fred VanVleet. The Raptors need to make this happen. God’s Plan.
