Ahead of his much-anticipated fight at UFC 229 against Khabib Nurmagomedov, Conor McGregor added a little extra sizzle to the weigh-ins by bringing out none other than Toronto rapper Drake.
Wearing an Irish flag draped over his back, the “6ix God” accompanied McGregor out to the podium before “The Notorious MMA” let the trash talking fly and got face-to-face with undefeated Russian MMA fighter.
Like many of McGregor’s weigh-ins, Dana White and UFC bodyguards had to separate the two fighters before McGregor flicked at Khabib with a kick. A large contingent of Irish fans flooded T-Mobile Arena cheering on McGregor and uttering boos towards Khabib when his name was blasted through the speakers and while Dana White interviewed him.
“Hey guys…I’m going to smash your boy,” uttered Khabib, wearing a Papakha wig, much to the displeasure of McGregor’s supporters.

This isn’t the first time Drake walked out with McGregor. Before his boxing match against Floyd Mayweather, Drizzy joined the Irishman on stage in Toronto during the pre-fight promo tour.
The two 30-year-olds will go toe-to-toe for the UFC Lightweight Championship in what will be Khabib’s first defence of the title belt.
