So… maybe there’s a chance Julian Edelman’s career isn’t over?
On Monday, the storied wide receiver announced his retirement from football after the Patriots terminated his contract following a failed physical, marking the end of an improbably 12-year career in the NFL.
Or so we thought.
Tampa Buccanneers and close friend to Edelman Rob Gronkowski claimes there’s more than a 50% chance he links up wit his old buddies down in Florida again… well, he gave it a 69% chance so we’re not exactly sure how seriously to take this but hey, it’s definitely worth noting. Leave it to Gronk to use his favoruite number…
Again, take this one with a grain of salt. Edelman posted a retirement video and it really did seem like the end.
And you’d think Tom would know something about a return… no?
You just know it must have eaten Edelman up inside watching Brady and Gronk add another title to their legacy without him in Tampa Bay. It might be the end but you never know… just keep thinking about that 69%.
