A star-studded group of athletes from women’s professional sports hopped on an Instagram Live over the weekend, when WNBA greats Diana Taurasi and Sue Bird were joined by USWNT superstar and Bird’s girlfriend Megan Rapinoe for a chat spanning multiple hours.

Over that time, a number of different topics came up, but one of Taurasi’s comments about her post-playing career specifically is making the rounds.

“Everyone is like, 'Do you want to be a coach? Do you want to be a GM?’” said Taurasi. “No, I want to [expletive] own it.” She also expressed disappointment about the lack of investment in women’s sports by wealthy women.

"Where are the rich women? I'm so disappointed in the women that have a lot of money," Taurasi said, per ESPN. "Sometimes you invest in things that don't make money yet, but you want to make them better."

Even at the age of 37, Taurasi remains one of the best active players in the WNBA, and she’ll go down in history as one of the all-time greats. When her career is over, it seems like she’ll be interested in continuing to support the growth of the game by becoming a team owner — as we’ve seen some retired players do in other sports.

It seems like she’s done being humble, too. For good reason!
