DeVonta Smith is having himself quite a season. In fact, he’s having the best season of any college football player, seeing as he took home the 2020 Heisman Trophy to finish off a stellar campaign with Alabama.
It didn’t end there, though. With Alabama competing in the National Championship, Smith didn’t take his foot off the gas. In fact, Smith incredibly recorded more touchdowns in the 1st half of the biggest game of his life, than the entire Ohio State Buckeyes team.
That’s pretty gosh darn impressive. In fact, he tied a National Championship record for receptions with 12. He did that IN THE 1st HALF!
Smith was shown some love from all around the sports world.
He ended up leaving the game with a finger injury, and could later be seen in his street clothes on the sideline with his finger all wrapped up.
