It’s no secret that the Vegas Golden Knights are one of the most (surprisingly) dominant teams on the ice this year, but they have also been tearing up the social media game. They constantly pick fights with other teams and use their “runt of the family” status to their advantage. Anything goes wrong? Meh, it’s expected. Things go right? There’s Hell to pay.

While people seem to like the Golden Knights Twitter presence, generally speaking, there’s something always very satisfying when they’re knocked off their horse by another team’s twitter account. For example, take this savage Twitter roast the Penguins laid on the Knights a few weeks ago (In response to the Knights’ preseason tweet).

Ooooo, the satisfaction. On Wednesday we got another little taste of that satisfaction when the New Jersey Devils took on the Knights, and proceeded to beat them down 8-3. During the game, the Knights were getting personal once again by relating a bunch of their tweets back to New Jersey-based TV show The Sopranos.

Proving that they were game, the Devils dropped the hammer.

The score didn’t help out the Golden Knights, and even they had to admit Sopranos defeat
