Not every Reverse Retro jersey was a hit. In fact, there were more than a few that were misses, including Detroit's.
It's pretty plain and there's not much going on, so it's easy to understand why Wings fans aren't the happiest with their team's brand new jersey. What they would have been happier with, though, might be something this designer came up with.
To say this jersey is a lot better would be an understatement. Obviously the Red Wings won't be making changes, but it's nice to dream about what could have been. Heck, even a jersey with the Octopus may have been more creative.
