Week 1 of the NFL season ended with Jon Gruden's return to coaching as the Raiders hosted the Rams Monday night.

After one half, it seemed like Gruden hadn't lost a step and that the Raiders actually had a shot at pulling off the upset.  It quickly became apparent that an upset wouldn't be happening, though, as Los Angeles dominated the second half.

Oakland didn't score a point after halftime and their woes on offence can be summed up by one awful interception that was thrown by Derek Carr which essentially ended the comeback bid.

You can tell that there was some miscommunication on the play between Carr and the intended target of that throw, Jordy Nelson, but throwing that football the way he did basically without looking was not the best decision he's ever made.
With over 8 minutes to go at that point in the game, a score of any kind would have kept the Raiders in it, but the turnover basically put the game away and left Oakland fans even more disappointed in their team than they already were.
