It’s that time of year. A time of giving, appreciating, and loving those around you that make your life better. It’s a time where strangers smile at each other on the street, and old friends reconnect over a beverage. Families gather, houses fill. It’s also a time for football.
The stakes are high in the NFL this time of year. Week 16 is where the playoff picture really starts to take shape. While DeAndre Hopkins and the Houston Texans are having a less-than-ideal season, officially eliminated from playoff contention and sitting at a 4-11 record, they still feel the intensity as they take on the red-hot Pittsburgh Steelers.
The game went as expected, with the Steelers putting up big play after big play on the J.J. Watt-less Texans’ defence. However, the 6 points that Houston managed to put on the board may have come as a result of one of, if not the nicest catch of the year.
The one handed tip to himself that Hopkins pulls off reminds us of one we saw earlier in the year out of the CFL and Duron Carter (a catch that is widely considered to be the catch of the year in Canadian football)
The Steelers won the game, but Hopkins won highlight of the night.
