DeAndre Hopkins showed off why he’s one of the league’s top receivers while playing under the Monday night lights. Racking up 111 yards on 8 catches to go along with two touchdowns is a stat-line the Texans will take any day, and it included a couple highlight reel catches at that.

His highlight of the night may not have been a catch at all – in fact, it came following an interception.

After Deshaun Watson tossed a deep ball downfield and it hung in the air just a little too long, New Orleans Saints DB Marcus Williams managed to snag it before it reached Will Fuller. Trying to score a few more yards, Williams popped up to his feet.

BIG MISTAKE.

In a matter of moments, Hopkins was there to meet Williams, and not accustomed to making textbook tackles, Hopkins instead pulled something off something much more devastating – a suplex!

While we all had a little moment of enthusiasm following the WWE-style slam, it’s not actually legal. The man they call “Nuk” was flagged for a 15-yard unsportsmanlike conduct penalty, adding insult to injury after the turnover.

After the game, Nuk wasn’t in agreeance with the call. He seems to think suplexes should be legal – how else was he supposed to tackle the guy!

We don’t want anyone getting hurt, but gosh darn if that wouldn’t just be the coolest thing…
