One of baseball’s most powerful sluggers ever, the image of David Ortiz mashing walk-off dingers in the clutch is basically synonymous with Boston Red Sox baseball over the last two decades, until his retirement in 2016.

Ortiz’s mansion in the Boston area recently went up for sale at an asking price of $6.3 million. As you can imagine, it’s a pretty sweet property. According to the listing, it even includes actual materials from Fenway Park, and Fenway architects were consulted in the design process.

This mansion just feels like Boston.

Although no longer a member of the Red Sox lineup, Ortiz has remained a fixture on television screens as a studio analyst with FOX Sports, and you can tell this guy still lives and breathes the Red Sox.

When Jackie Bradley Jr. came through in one of the most clutch at-bats of Boston’s championship run in the playoffs, Ortiz had the greatest reaction of anybody on the panel. Some team allegiances just never die!
