David Beckham and Zlatan Ibrahimovic are two of the best players to represent their respective countries on the international stage.
On Saturday, England and Sweden will go head-to-head in the quarter-finals at the World Cup with a spot in the semi-finals on the line, so Beckham and Ibrahimovic decided to place a friendly wager on the game.
If England walks away with a victory, Ibrahimovic will have to buy Beckham dinner anywhere in the world, but if Sweden wins then Beckham has to buy Zlatan whatever he wants from IKEA. The former professional midfielder responded and was all in on the deal and promised Zlatan he would buy him whatever he wanted from IKEA for his LA mansion, but upped the bet by telling the LA Galaxy striker that he has to join him at Wimbledon wearing an England jersey while eating fish and chips.
Even IKEA Sweden’s social media team chimed in on the wager and are feeling very confident in their boys heading into Saturday’s game.
Winner of the game will take on the winner of the Russia and Croatia match in the semi-finals.
