If the offseason is anything like the regular season was for the Ottawa Senators, we're going to be talking about this team a lot in the coming months.
Trade rumours surrounded the team's top players all season long and although a significant move wasn't made prior to the trade deadline, that doesn't mean one won't be made this summer.
Wednesday, TSN Hockey Insider Darren Dreger was on TSN 1200 and gave everyone a name he expects to be on the move at the NHL Draft later this month.
Hoffman's name came up in rumours around the trade deadline, but nothing materialized. That doesn't mean teams won't try to land the 28-year-old who's heading into year three of a four-year deal.
As Dreger explained on TSN1200, sometimes it's easier to make a deal in the summer as opposed to dealing such a big part of your team during the season. This is a warning to all Sens fans, don't be surprised if Hoffman is dealt in the coming weeks.
