Athletes across the sports world are superstitious in their own way and some of those ways are much more obvious than others.

Friday night, for example, Danny Jansen of the Toronto Blue Jays decided to do something very strange mid-game against the Tigers, shave his moustache.

Can't say we've ever seen an athlete shave during a game before and have it immediately pay off like it did for Jansen.

What's strange, though, is that Jansen wasn't really in a slump of any sort. In fact, it was the exact opposite as he had a hit in 9 of his last 12 games entering play.  That said, it was a two-game hitless streak for Jansen and he ended it after shaving.
