He’s one of the most decorated three-point shooters in NBA Finals history, but we’re sure that Danny Green is going to want this one back.

With the Los Angeles Lakers trailing by a single point and the shot clock turned off, LeBron James found Danny Green at the top of the arc for a wide open three and a chance to win the NBA championship.

Unfortunately, Green’s shot grazed the front of the rim, and then Markieff Morris turned the ball over after the ensuing offensive rebound for the Heat to stay alive.

This probably isn't how the Lakers wanted their last half-court possession to go... 😬

Green ranks fifth in all-time threes made in the Finals, having made four Finals appearances with the San Antonio Spurs, Toronto Raptors and Los Angeles Lakers. He has two championships, and could go home with a third this season.

Unfortunately, he couldn’t get it done in Game 5, and trust us when we say that the internet was getting their jokes off.
