With the Kansas City Chiefs taking on the Tampa Buccaneers this Sunday for Super Bowl LV, it’s no surprise players want to look good.

You’re playing in one of the biggest games of your career, you want to look SNAZZY. Absolutely to the nines.

So what do you do? You get a haircut!

Well, those were the plans for the Chiefs crew until their barber tested positive for COVID this past Sunday.

First reported by Adam Schefter, over 20 players had appointments with the barber and luckily appointments were able to be canceled as the barber was pulled mid-cut once the test had come back conclusive.

Well, for most players. Two, in particular, were placed on the COVID reserve list...But here’s where the semi-funny part comes in.

As Demarcus Robinson was one of the unlucky bunch, an even more unlucky Chiefs player was left with half of a haircut as the barber was removed mid-cut.

We’re so sorry Daniel Kilgore.

Getting only half of your haircut may be in the top ten of our worst fears next to some sort of dentistry scare or your hair being accidentally dyed green.

But Kilgore really took the “when life gives you lemons, you make lemonade route” and had a little fun with it.

Things you love to see: this. This right here folks.

And along with Kilgore taking light of the situation, some fellow NFL fans joined in on the fun.

BUT, there's a plot twist to this story, folks...

Luckily for Kilgore and his hair, the cut was able to be finished and that nightmare was over. According to Schefter, he was already deemed a "close contact" and had asked the barber to actually finish the haircut.
