Down at the Southern 500 from the Darlington Raceway, Nascar Cup Series drivers are spicing things up for the special throwback theme that’s taking place this weekend.
Danica Patrick is taking back to her childhood with a special custom painted helmet that replicates the first ever helmet she wore as a racer.
The 35-year-old began her racing career as a go-kart driver.
Patrick’s racecar is also customized, too, honouring Dale Jarrett and the No. 88 vehicle he drove to win the Cup Series championship back in 1999.
