Sports fans around the world are wondering when they’re going to watch their favourite team live in action again and it’s hard for the leagues to give them any sort of answer considering everything we’re going through is a new experience for everyone.

Professional athletes have still been doing media rounds from the comfort of their home and just about every single one of them has been asked to share their thoughts on the possibility of playing out the remainder of the season in the summer.

On Tuesday, Montreal Canadiens centre Phillip Danault was asked about finishing the season in the summer and didn’t seem very up for it, especially it means having the players quarantine in hotels for a few months.

Danault also mentioned that any player on a playoff team would most likely be up for continuing the season into the summer, but feels like he’s not the only one thinking playing into the summer is a bad idea for the players and for getting the most out of next season.

Every player is going to have a different opinion on this matter, but Danault is definitely not alone on this one.
