2021 is a different year than we’re used to in the NHL as the league continues to have limited or zero capacity for fans. While we’re obviously anxiously awaiting the return to packed barns, for now we have to make the most of what we’ve got.
For some teams, that mean’s taking advantage of the dormant in-arena tools such as the scoreboard. On Saturday, the Dallas Stars used their scoreboard to perfectly clown FOX Sports broadcaster Brien Rea.
It takes Rea a while to catch on, but co-host Brent Severyn helped sell the moment by doing a full 180 while Rea read his piece.
All we’re saying is we didn’t exactly see a hard tug on that tie, and we’re not sold that it is a real tie.
